Calm, direct and entirely focused on what needs to change.
I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist specialising in anxiety, panic and phobias. I work primarily online with clients throughout the UK, with face-to-face appointments also available at Cavendish Square, Harley Street, London.
I help capable people change automatic responses that continue despite what they consciously know.

You do not need to perform therapy well.
You do not need to arrive calm, articulate or certain that hypnotherapy will work. You do need to be open to a focused approach and willing to engage with the process, including when a different response feels unfamiliar.
The initial consultation is where we make sense of what is happening and decide whether we are a good fit for working together. My style is warm, straightforward and precise, and I keep the work centred on meaningful change.
Specialist work shaped by more than 1,000 private clients.
Anxiety rarely presents in exactly the same way twice. One person is Googling symptoms at 3am. Another is replaying a meeting, needing an escape route or cancelling plans because the possibility of panic feels too risky.
My specialist work includes panic attacks, health anxiety, emetophobia, toilet anxiety involving bowel or bladder urgency, and specific phobias such as driving, flying, medical procedures and situations where leaving feels difficult.
What these patterns often share is an automatic attempt to create safety. Checking, reassurance, preparation and avoidance can provide short-term relief, while quietly teaching the mind that the situation was dangerous and the safety behaviour was necessary.
That is the mechanism we look for. The aim is not simply to manage symptoms more efficiently. The work is tailored to the sequence your mind has learned, so we can focus on changing the automatic response underneath it.
Specialist support without needing to travel to London.
I have several years’ experience as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and have worked privately with more than 1,000 clients.
Most of my work is delivered online to clients throughout the UK. You can work with me from your own private space without travelling to London, while receiving the same focused preparation, session time, therapeutic audio and ongoing support.
For clients who prefer to attend in person, private appointments are also available at Cavendish Square, within London’s Harley Street medical district.
I also run Louise Squires Hypnotherapy in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. That is my established local practice, while Harley Street Hypnotherapist is my London and UK-wide practice, with in-person appointments at Cavendish Square and online work across the UK. Both are my practices and use the same focused, individual approach, while retaining their own names and locations.
The presenting situation may differ, but I am looking closely at the mechanism underneath it: what activates the response, what your mind predicts, what briefly creates safety and how that relief keeps the pattern convincing.
That clinical experience allows the work to remain individual without becoming vague or unnecessarily prolonged.
I understand the difference between knowing you are safe and feeling it.
My route into hypnotherapy was personal before it became professional. Years before I trained, I experienced anxiety and panic myself. I knew what it was like to understand something logically while my body continued to respond as though there was a problem.
Hypnotherapy helped me make a change I had not been able to think my way into. That experience shaped the way I now work: directly, practically and with close attention to the automatic response underneath the visible symptom.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent around 20 years in sales and understand the pressure of being capable, performing well and appearing composed. I eventually left that career to build my private practice, bringing that real-world understanding into the work I do with professionals, business owners, parents and other people carrying demanding responsibilities.

Focused work for people ready to move forward.
Many of my clients are high functioning. They manage careers, families and demanding responsibilities while using an exhausting amount of energy to stay composed.
They are not looking to analyse the problem indefinitely. They are ready to understand what is keeping it active, engage with a focused process and build the response they want instead.
My Focused Hypnotherapy Programme begins with an intensive 90-minute first session and is delivered through one to four structured sessions. Some clients find one or two sessions are all they need, although no particular outcome or number of sessions can be guaranteed.
Every client receives therapeutic audio recordings and ongoing support from me, regardless of the number of sessions booked. Appointments are available online throughout the UK, with face-to-face sessions also available at Cavendish Square, Harley Street, London.
Let’s find out what needs to change.
Your initial consultation is a private conversation about what is happening, the outcome you want and the support I recommend.
Your deposit is deducted from any sessions you go on to book.
