Gaining weight from added sugar in your food is the least of your worries. A study by the University of California in San Francisco, examined 8000 medical studies and concluded that consumption of added sugar, causes chronic, life threatening and life shortening diseases. Diseases including, but not limited to:
- Fatty liver disease.
- Type 2 Diabetes.
- Cardiovascular disease.
“Too much sugar causes chronic metabolic disease in both fat and thin people,” said endocrinologist Robert Lustig, “and instead of focusing on obesity as the problem, we should be focusing on our processed-food supply.”
